ive had empowering software problems as well. acer charge after 180days for there software problems. and the dvd drive rumbles like crazy and they told me that could be a sotfware issue. lol how stupid is that?
would not recommend the acer machines.
customer service 1 out of ten.

Give it time! mines hopless. Never worked properly from a week after I got it. The so called e software with Vista dont work to well. And acer's website fixes didnt work.
After sales service not to good. (Dont format the hard drive) Acer customer services told me I would have to pay £50+ to send me a disc. To reload the pre instaled software.
