Terrible customer services - the worst I have encountered, and I have certainly met some bad service before. If you have to buy from Ikea then I don't recommend you get the delivery! Renting a car and getting it myself would have been much less stressful.
The entire online system on the Ikea website won't work with Windows Vista or any browser other than Internet explorer, which they don't tell you on their website. They claim that they will call you the day before your delivery to notify you of a time slot, however from my experience this is not the case. My delivery didn't arrive on the day scheduled, although when I called Ikea they assured me it was coming. No one called to say they couldn't make it, which meant I wasted an entire day waiting at home. After calling Ikea several times to try and sort out another delivery I was promised that someone would contact me on 3 occasions, and not once was I contacted. By this point I asked that they refund my delivery costs, but was told I had to write in after I received my order! After demanding to speak to the customer services supervisor. I was told she would refund the delivery charges; a complete contradiction of what she had told me before! However, it has been over a week and they still haven't processed it.
