Good Points

Easy to empty crumb tray
Attractive moveable dials.


Bad Points

The sections did not go down deep enough, so most bread only came out half-toasted. It was slow and we had to re-heat the toast, even on the top number, as it never came out brown enough for our taste.
The middle two sections stopped heating up at all just after the guarantee went out of date, so the toaster was then completely useless.


General Comments

Disappointing! The De Longhi Metropolis Toaster never made one really good slice of toast. It only lasted 13 months.
