The cost (under 20 quid from a Cash and Carry). It runs direct off the mains with moulded plug, no wall-wart adapter!. It's sensitive, it's stable, well mannered, compact, has a nice quality remote, It comes with SCART lead and batteries. I've got three of these and none have ever locked up and they're plugged in round the clock.
Bad Points
Only seen silver ones, I prefer my TV stuff black and unobstrusive!! There's no RF modulator so older tellys without an AV input won't be directly compatible.
General Comments
The unit is very pleasing all round, quick to react to the remote and has a great menu. The menu screen looks like the generic type found on Alba, Bush, Tesco etc but this is where the similarity ends, the firmware is so much better on this unit. Wonderfully immune to outside interference from car/moped ignition etc, though my gas ignition on the stove causes pixellation...not a problem.
I recommend this, it's the best one I've owned (I've got six assorted ones now!) and is also the cheapest !!
