Bad customer service, absolutely no contact or follow up after my initial enquiry.
I submitted my CV following a visit to the Exeter office, waited a week and heard nothing. I called the office and asked to speak to the person I had dealt with on my visit, they were not available so I left my number and was promised a call back that afternoon, no call. I waited almost another week and called again, told that the person I wanted to speak to was unavailable, left my contact details again and was promised another call back which never came. 3 weeks after first contact I called once more and this time I was put through to the elusive "consultant" who was very defensive and denied getting any of my messages. She told me she would discuss my details with her manager as soon as we had finished the phone call and she promised to call me that afternoon to advise me if they would be able to place me. Guess what, she didn't call. Well that was enough for me, you can only bash your head against a wall so many times. I emailed the office to withdraw my application and advised that I would be making a complaint to their head office about their total lack of professionalism. That brought an immediate phone call from the branch manager who defended his staff and denied that any of my phone calls had been received because they weren't logged anywhere, I suggested that this only served to confirm their general incompetence and after dancing around the issue for a few further minutes we ended the conversation.
I have dealt with several employment agencies in the same town and elsewhere and have never before experienced such apathy as was demonstrated by Blue Arrow, total lack of diligence and professionalism and not a scrap of common courtesy.
