chocochris07's Review of Final Fantasy VII for Playstation

The graphics are amazing, for its day. And even with that in mind they still retain something special that i feel surpasses even the most modern game graphics. The story is incredible with twists and turns everywhere. You really feel part of it and feel the pain of the characters. You may find yourself playing for ages. Each 'level,' or rather area has little secrets or extras that encourage you to play the game more than once.
Bad Points
Well, you find yourself slightly bored of most areas if you play it enough and do everything. So once you've 100% completed the game you may not want to do so twice. In addition, completing the game properly does take over 200 hours (for me). But then again, i am a hideous perfectionist.
General Comments
I love the game and everyone should play it at least once just to see how the story develops. The official strategy guide for it is very good, even though it has a few mistakes and imperfections. Lastly, i couldn't have asked for a better game. The expectations for AMAZING GRAPHICS or super-fun multiplayer modes may not be met but why would you want that anyway? Too real graphics take away the charm of fiction and you can get hung up on realism and sharing with friends in a co-op mode or something. This is a personal game and becomes a journey for the player. It is as if one has lived the game-But thankfully, has none of the scares to prove it.
