Refund policy
My wife bought a watch as a Christmas present for me. In her wisdom she let me have a peek at it. I bravely told her that i did not like it. So next day we toddle down to Chester for a refund. When we entered the store we were told that we would not be able to have one. Now when my wife bought the watch 18 hours earlier she was told that if i did not like it she could bring it back. It was not made clear that a refund would not be made. But a credit note was immediately made available. We were advised that it was policy of nearly all jewellers in Chester not to offer refunds. Not really happy about this especially when its the time of year that we take a chance with our hard earned.
