General Comments

Went to the Angel Inn last night, and can barely begin to start reviewing as it was so horrendously bad. We had pre-ordered our menu as requested by the owners, who had promised to email the menu four times before it actually arrived. The party of sixteen all pre-ordered as requested, however upon arrival at the restaurant and after being seated, we were told that we couldn't have that menu and that the menu no longer existed. We were told we could have the carvery option - however portions were limited and as a vegetarian there was no option but to have a small side salad as a main course. Even this was bland and delivered astonishingly badly. The owner seemed totally uncaring about messing us around, there was no apology and no offer to compensate us with even just a bottle of house wine. It was expensive, very noisy with a table of really drunk people just behind us and altogether totally unenjoyable.
