It lasted a whole year and a half.
Bad Points
This thing broke after about a year and a half... no fix available on Brother.Good reason to stick with HP's.. They may occasionally break, but you can get support and parts if you are a little bit handy.
General Comments
Don't get the 5140, spend a few bucks more and get a better brand.I see quite a few problems with paper jams, and drums that can't be fixed by an average person.Mine still has that brand new smell to it as well.. shows how much I used it.
