Good Points
Fastest neck I've played, punchy tone thanks to the EMG 81's, not as sterile as I expected. Surprisingly decent clean tones. The kind of guitar that makes you want to play. Great for rock and metal.
Bad Points
Not the most versatile guitar, but its not supposed to be.
General Comments
Jackson Dinky DK1 is a guitar that makes me want to play for hours at a time. Easy, soft action and good, balanced, powerful tones. Awesome Jackson and one of my favorite guitars. No other guitars that I know of play like real Jackson's. My Les Paul comes close, but not quite as quick of a neck. Only drawback is the EMG's aren't really suited for jazz n' stuff; you can pull it off, but not really that convincing. The same as you wouldn't necessarily use an ES-335 to play Angel of Death. That's more of a stretch than the DK1 playing jazz.
