Newport News clothing and accessories look good in a picture. The actual quality of the products is a different story. Up close, they are cheaply made. Not only are their products not all they're cracked up to be, the clothing itself tends to run large. I am not a small woman. I'm breastfeeding, and just gave birth to a little girl. I ordered a small $20 "corset" belt that I thought might look flattering. Needless to say, I couldn't keep the darn thing from sinking to my hips. It was sooo loose! I couldn't believe it was a size small! And I wasn't able to adjust the belt at all so that it would fit me. The shirts I ordered were also too large, though I did pick out medium sized ones (my bust is a size D, why would medium be too large?!). Now that I've talked about the clothing itself, I really should mention that you're lucky if you see any of the clothing at all in person. THREE MONTHS AGO I ordered a beautiful white, lacy blouse that I thought would be perfect for Christmas. I still haven't seen it. My credit card's been charged. I called and they said it was on back order, yet they continue to advertise it in every current catalogue they send, as well as on their website! I am thoroughly disenchanted with Newport News.
