I don't think there is enough room in this box.
General Comments
I have never come across a company so bad in my life. Each time I ring they seem not to have a clue what they are talking about.
This all started in October this year unfortunately my cat had to be put to sleep he was only one. He was a Birman cat and had a disease called F.I.P if you have ever heard of it, it is more or less a terminal illness. We paid £300 for him and the vets bills came to about £250. I called up explaining all of this and sent in every single document I owned for him. Weeks and weeks went by so with no letters saying they had received anything, I called up and they said yes we have received some papers but not proving how much we paid for the cat, I called my vet up giving them grief saying that they had not sent in all the paper work like I asked. They denied this and assured me that they did. I called back E&L and told them this and suggested to the man to look himself in the file, he came back and said 'oh yeh sorry found em.'
More and more weeks went on. They sent a letter saying I needed to send medical history in. (They already had EVERYTHING) It took me another few days and billions of phone calls to get it into there skulls that we had sent everything, the women agreed with me finally and said they will deal with it in due course (it had been almost 2 months!)
More weeks went by and last week I called up again. 'Oh hello, yes we are waiting on your cats medical history' This is where I actually yelled down the phone to speak to someone else to sort this out. Apparently non of the managers come to the phone. Good customer relations eh?
Instead the women asked me to write an email, which I must admit was really hard to do as I miss him a lot explaining dates and times of when he got poorly and when we took him to the vet. It was really hard writing this because it took me back to how hard it was having to put him to sleep. I just want to draw a line under it.
I called up and spoke to a guy who said that because of my email (which contained a paragraph of complaint) it had been sent to the manager, the guy also revealed that this was an E&L's fault and that its going to get dealt with purely because I complained. So in other words if you don't complain it will not be sorted for several months.
I am still waiting on a cheque, im sure I'll be waiting until 2009 for it!
