The inside has a nice look and feel.
The time that it takes to get your food is far to long, but the staff are pleasant. The quality of the food in my opinion is poor and not what I would call restaurant standard but more like pub grub.
I suspect as well that before it arrived at the table, it had been zapped in the microwave and most of the content of the plate was frozen as some point.
If you are looking for a hot meal in a nice surrounding then the waterfront will accommodate but so will other establishments in the area.
If you are a foodie who cares about what you put in your mouth and what you pay for , stay away.
Anstruther is a beautiful place and I love visiting when I can but it dose need a good restaurant.
