S16S, Great Gun for mechanically minded people, easy and quick to strip down and service. My 22 is deadly accurate using a bipod, no problem with seals as long as their treated with SG3 regularly. I love the weight as it helps steady shooting, same with my 97K, heavy guns must suit me
Extensive use of the cocking lever can give you blisters, I have super glued a piece of rubber to the front of mine, problem solved. It does take effort and technique to cock but once mastered, no prob and no pellet jams.
The S16S is a great gun and great fun, definitely no for youngsters because of the weight and the force need to cock, but it is a great piece of engineering and a very efficient hunting gun and whisper quite. Some people dislike the military styling but when I hunt it has a camo net over it as with all my guns. And it is great fun on the range and I being a .22 man can out shoot a lot of friends using .177. The S16S has had a lot of criticism in these types of reviews but I took a long time to choose one and only purchased one when I was sure it was what I wanted, 6 months down the line and I am still amazed at what it can do. I love servicing all my Guns and find the S16S by far the easiest to work on. A great Gun.
