Good Points

I found Liverpool Victoria to provide me with the cheapest car insurance quote on my car.. In fact, the quote was 1900 on a 1.2 54 plate VW Polo, where as other companies I looked at quoted me 4000 and higher.

General Comments

I recently had a crash and my car went into the garage provided naturally by my insurance company StoneAcre (October 25th), however once I received my car back after the fix there was a major problem with the steering. My Dad was very insistent it went back as soon as possible as he thought the problem was enough to make the car unsuitable to drive, they happily took the car back in and argued they would fix the car fully for no cost. I got the car back and everything seemed fine until the car's previous steering problem re-occurred causing me once again to have a slight crash into a curb. My Dad was inevitably angered by this, not wanting the car to go back to the recommended garage by my insurance company. So we rang for another garage hoping they would sort out for me as we felt this garage could not be trusted. However, the person dealing with my case was not helpful at all. LV suggested I sort everything out with another garage, by this I mean getting the car picked up as it was un-drivable, getting the car assessed for its problems, I did this in around 2 hours however had to wait 2 weeks of constant ringing LV up.
Once this happened the person dealing with my case from Liverpool Victoria still failed to contact the garage, I made calls from 9 in the morning at work, ringing both the garage then my insurance company then the garage... and by 5.30 at the end of my working day I would of got absolutely no progress made. I was constantly assured that I will get a call back. Now this may be hard for people to believe that are reading this review, however the car had the second crash on November the 16th, it was weeks before the garage started to work on the car problems, and I finally recieved a courtesy car last week. I have been so angered by this through the countless phone calls, and I mean countless... just to get information on my car or how much it would cost for repairs, therefore I had to ring back and forth from garage to my insurance company making a very simple very quick process a long long aggravating one. I found the person dealing with my case very unhelpful as they didn't hurry the process, in fact from the first time I contacted LV I didn't receive one phone call from LV or the garage once in two weeks, by which time I was desperate for a courtesy as it was costing me a lot of money that I didn't really have to get to work and college. I have tried to contact her to speak to her manager, however whenever I ring her she seems to be unavailable. I have never experienced such poor service in my life.
