Good Points

It works, well sort of anyway


Bad Points

The link to the Internet Banking is hidden in the depths of the post office site, it's has a very convoluted password system, terrible navigation and usability, it's very unintuitive and it will only work with Internet Explorer.


General Comments

The Internet banking for the post office (credit card) is terrible. The link to the site is hidden in the depths of the post office site, there's no link from the homepage. The user id and password system is completely numeric and therefore, you have to remember two six digit numbers. So by trying to make it more secure they've made it less secure because there's no way people are going to remember two six digit numbers without writing them down. The user interface is appalling, it's very unintuitive and badly designed - I should know I'm a web designer. You're payments do not show on your statement for some reason and this is really annoying. Generally the site is just badly designed and awful to use. Also, it will only work with Internet Explorer, I use Firefox but luckily I have a PC so I have IE as standard but what are Apple Mac users supposed to do? To make matters worse it sometimes kicks you out the system with a message 'the system is unavailable please try later'! I also use Lloyds TSB internet banking and in comparison that is light years ahead of the post office. Typical useless offering from the UK post office -
