Genuine 295kph top speed with chip and most basic mods, reliable, dependable, fuel efficient, best bang for buck, blows BMW m3s to the weeds with cheap and simple mods.
Overrated performance standard guise, a v8 4.9 liter ss commodore despite advertised being 3/10ths slower in the 0-100kph sprint actually is 3 cars quicker with a full tank of 80litres fuel! Opel claims 6.4 secs for the 4wd turbo ib oz.
go figure!
Despite not being a v8 beater standard wise, there's ample potential to revert it into a v8 beater with simple and cheap mods, making it one of the best bang for buck cars in the planet.
