General Comments

Finally got round to buying my first mobile phone back in Feb and found that the DB4000 seemed the best match for me - and only £40 on BT Cellnet PAYG. It worked out well so I bought a second one for my wife a month or so later.

I had mixed feelings about the flip being a pain - it is a drag having to open the phone to use it. However, it does protect the buttons and I'm kind of relieved/smug that I should never be guilty of making an accidental emergency call.

I keep mine in my pocket, without a case and it's not suffered so far, despite 2 drops onto hard ground. Once I thought something had broken inside when it really rattled in vibrate mode, before I realised that the aerial was simply a bit loose!

My one big wish is that the aerial was internal, but then there are still not many phones without a sticky out one.

Yup, it's more primitive than many other phones, but I don't use SMS and can't be bothered with games & changing covers and it gives me all I need in a small package.
