Bad Points

Restaurant was freezing cold.
Very poor selection of wines available. Staff didn't know that Chardonnay is a white wine and that they might have found some had they looked in the wine cooler.
All four of our party chose the soup for a starter (partly because it was so cold in the restaurant). Soup wasn't available.
Monkfish tails in garlic butter was very bland (had they forgotten the garlic?).
Prawn salad was very unimaginative - a large pile of thawed frozen prawns, a pile of shell-on prawns not much larger than shrimps, accompanied by a couple of iceberg lettuce leaves, 2 quarters of tomato and a spoonful of plastic coleslaw.

General Comments

Very, very disappointing having had good experiences here in the past.Large portions of fresh food.
Ale was in good condition.
