Good Points

Solid construction. Easy navigational functions. Practical mobile phone for the unperfect conditions.


Bad Points

Single screw battery cover. Unprotected battery cover and uncovered systems connectors. i don't know why nokia designed the back cover as it is. the battery cover should be highly protected since it's the last line of defence against water, shocks and dust. if the phone falls and lands on the back cover, the single screw will loosen and the battery cover will open! it the battery cover were designed something like the Ericsson R310s, it definately works better. the other thing is that the system connectors of the 6250 are not covered. even though it is water resistant, dirt and dust will block the connectors especially at the charging slot. the battery connections are not impressive. what if water managed to get through the water seal of the battery cover, surely it will eventually find its way into the delicate battery connectors and sim card connectors and damage the phone. i wish nokia will come out with improvements like the Ericsson R310s has in its battery (water tight gaskets) and covered system connectors.


General Comments

The Nokia 6250 is probably the most practical mobile phone ever manufactured by nokia. you don't have to worry about your phone while you are doing the things you do all day. i always keep my 6250 in my pocket and sweat does not seem to be a problem. Other conventional mobiles will not withstand sweat. its a lot thougher than the Ericsson R310s in the sence that it drops and lands on its top and bottom. the functions of the 6250 are a class above the rest. what other phone has month displayed calender? well, as for the battery cover and uncovered system connectors, i hope that nokia will come out with a better designed mobile phone.
