Good Points

Small, superb resolution, can use IBM 340mb Microdrive

Bad Points

-Battery charger is an EXPENSIVE "option".
-The memory card access door is flimsy plastic, and appears vulnerable to being broken off accidentally.
-The zoom lens motors out quite a ways, before settling BACK into the parked position. This causes it to hit many lens accessories mounted on an adapter.
-The zoom is only 2x. A 3x would be far more useable
-There are no threads to attach filters (like a polarizer) to the lens. Adapters are a must.

General Comments

I use the S20 on my long runs. It easily fits into a small 'walkman-style' fanny pack, and takes the shock of several hours of bouncing with no problems.

The controls are easily reached with one hand.

The software that accompanies the camera is good, one of the best being the multiple-photo stitching utility.

Strongly recommend getting the IBM microdrive. The combination of the camera and drive is fantastic.
