Free version is very effective, is easy to use and has a small footprint.Less intrusive than AV software such as Mc Affee and Symantec.
No anti-spy ware for free.
There's no point in paying for AV software such as Norton and Macafee when you can get a sound product like AVG for free. I didn't even bother installing the free copy of Norton security center. I got recently from my broadband provider as AVG is just as effective and less intrusive.
