Light weight, takes single pictures, video, voice recorder.
Bad Points
Lens Extension,Retraction System locks up shutting down ALL operations. There are numerous purchasers with the lock-up problem and Pentax will not repair claiming damage by misuse, therefore voiding the warranty.
General Comments
My Pentax Optio S50 lens locked up when I put the camera into its carrying case and I inadvertently touched the ON button.
I see where others have sent their camera to be repaired and told it was misused therefore voiding the warranty. Repair cost would have been around $120.00.
I would NOT recommend buying this camera.
