Built like a tank.
Weight balance bias to the front.
Transmission failed after 29K miles of gentle driving.
Poor turn radius to execute sharp turns.
Power steering occassionaly dumps during turns.
Volvo dealer (Palo Alto, CA) leaving various bolts off engine & battery following service.
Low end bog off start line at traffic lights.
Eats front brake pads, probably due to weight bias and soft factory brake pads.
Extremely poor rear visibility out rear window.
Electric trunk release on key FOB only!
Irratic operation of caution indicator lights.
Famous Volvo timing belt that requires $700 change fees (providing a high curb doesn't get it first with the drain tube).
The Volvo S80 T-6 is a safe car but for the money I wished I had listened to reason and bought a BMW 528/540.
