Bad Points

SONY customer service leaves a lot to be desired. You basically call in and they mess you around not resolving any issues. For that matter I can talk to my priest with better result.


General Comments

Same problem with SONY rear projection TV. Have owned for a few years, warranty expired. A few months after expiration changed Blue CRT to the tune of $500. A few months later changed convergence panel to the tune of $500. This past Saturday TV went red and popped. Was told red and green CRT needed to be replaced but SONY no longer has them. TV tech can order rebuild from California for $1,000. I will never ever buy SONY products as long as I live. Each time I called SONY I got some clueless rep that took a statement and refereed to certified tech. Unbelievable!!!
