Beautiful graphics, smooth game play, and very nice controls. Super Mario Galaxy tops all previous 3D Mario games and brings back the platform genre. Up until this game many believed that the Platform genre of gaming was dead, but this brought it back. The gravity flips were amazing and smooth. Very very long! You won't get bored however because you never know what crazy stunt Mario has to do next. Once you finally manage to "complete the game" with all 120 stars it isn't over. A second quest starts up with Luigi as your playable character. BRILLIANT!
No original story. The game's story is that of Super Mario Bros. Wii remote battery alert is very annoying it makes a lot of noise and pops up on the side of the screen and if you disconnect player 2's remote it does the same thing for about 3 minutes. 2 player mode was a little crappy. Player 2 was just a yellow star cursor that made Mario jump, spin, grabbed star bits, and stunned enemies and could shoot star bits. They should have put in an actual second character where player 1 was Mario and 2 was Luigi.
If you are a Mario fan or even if you aren't you will love this game. I highly recommend those who haven't got into Galaxy to try it. It is the best game of 2007!!!
