I guess it works.
1. does not interact well with personal firewall
2. minimal configuration options--cannot specify file types except program/compressed
3. constantly attempts to insert itself into startup, which if it does, it constantly attempts to connect to an internet site. This cannot be disabled except temporarily.
4. De-install does NOT remove the program which continues to insert itself at startup. Manual deletion of registry entries is all that works.
McAfee VirusScan Online is a very badly behaved program. It may scan for viruses ok, but it configures so poorly, and causes crashes, that I would find something else. My own version came from AOL.
