Excellent grip in wet and dry. Quiet and comfortable. Hard wearing. Cheaper than big brands.

No bad points but may be more difficult to find than big brands.
General Comments
These Avon ZZ3 tyres have provided me with excellent grip in the wet and dry and have never caused any concern in any situation. Little experince of snow and ice in Surrey but what little we had last winter posed no problems. They are quieter than previous tyres I've had and are comfortable. At around 15000 miles the wear-rate has been good even on my 4WD X-Type Jag which is supposed to be hard on tyres. Jaguar fit Pirelli P6000's as standard, which is what I had previously but I don't know why - the improvement was immediate after I fitted the Avons. They do seem to be less widely advertised and available than the big brands which is a shame but well worth seeking out a supplier because they are excellent and cheaper. These ZZ3 tyres have been superb in all respects and I will be buying them again.
