Good Points

Prices were OK and the range was good, the convenience of ordering 5 appliances from one place is why I decided to use them in the end

Delivery service was was poor.


General Comments

Wincanton do their deliveries.

Nightmare.

The first delivery didn't turn up, second delivery due after 8am. I got a phone call at 6.30am to say they were outside and I either let them in then or they would leave with the goods! As the delivery address was an hour away, that wasn't possible.

The call centre has no control over the drivers but managed to get them back later that day. The driver was really abusive and threatening because I had complained. He told me that I was lucky some of my stuff didn't get accidentally dropped.

The call centre for Sainsbury Kitchen Appliances Online seems efficient but the back office administration is poor.

I would never order anything from any company that uses Wincanton as its delivery service - the experience was too scary and as I never got an apology I assume they didn't take the complaint seriously.

I had a really nice builder on site at the time and I think that was the only reason the driver wasn't even more vile.

My Nectar points didn't go onto the account, had to chase for them 3 months later.
Insurance was applied for and documents were not sent out.
