Good Points

I love the neck on this guitar. Very comfortable to play in ever form. The body is made of solid wood which at one time was rare in guitars in this price range from what I'd gathered. My first guitar priced at $400.00 was made of pressure board. When the standard tremelo is setup properly you can still get dive bombs and vibrato that don't take the guitar out of tune very often.

Bad Points

The pickups are ok for a guitar in this price range but the single coils weren't my cup of tea. I replaced them with DiMarzio humbuckers which meant I had a new pickguard made. I also replaced saddles and string tree with graphite as well as the nut.

General Comments

Not much more I can say. I've been playing for quite a while and the Yamaha Pacifica 112 is actually one of my favorites I ever played. Mind you the pickup change made a bit of a difference. Like I said before the neck and body are the best part of this guitar. I have to say that I like the Pacifica headstock design and the body is contoured nicely.

Yeah I know I replaced a few things but the construction of this instrument is really good and reliable.
