Good Points

Staff - lovely friendly and helpful Ground very well kept Lovely views over the harbour


Bad Points

the rooms were very damp - but that could have been due to the very wet weather! TV reception ng Had quite a walk to reach anywhere


General Comments

We gave the puerto del sol a chance, and were not disappointed, its a nice hotel. The rooms are big with all amenities - even microwave , they cater for you all day, and the food is fine. We are not chip eaters, or picky ...but it was fine , its an all inclusive ..its never that great. We were there the last week of the season left october 30th. so it was on its run down, but even so there was entertainment, they did their best, my 4yr old son loved it. The drinks were pretty dire, noticed some people bought in their own cans.
The hotel was not very full, and I can imagine it being absolute hell in high season .. there was an element of the football shirt crowd there when we arrived, teenageers hanging about caused a bit of bother ..but nothing to worry about. Also the sunbeds are packed together throughout the grounds. No probs for us - it rained and on the 2 good days there were plenty to choose from ...the staff were very friendly, the harbour was lovely and the town itself seemed pretty nice - if only it had been open. We liked the place- but would not go there in high season.
Oh don't get the train .. you can walk to the town centre quicker.
