General Comments

I have had my gt for 3 years it runs 1.9 bar boost and has done for 2 years i have had no probs. My engine is heavily modified 260hp much fun.
These cars can be tuned so easily its great.
I had to modify handling of car or i was going to die, they are like boats. Anyway these cars are great i will never sell my gt never

Hi what other modifications did you make to get your GT running at 1.9 bar without blowing the engine up!!! Any ideas of where I can start.

    Change your pistons,competition head gasket,water injection,5th injector,bigger intercooler,e.c.u modifications,bleed valve and a bigger turbo

Oh right, nice. You can probably guess what i'm gonna ask now. Where can i get all that kinda stuff from? know any websites with it all on?
And money, that must cost more than the car is worth?

You could get a really quick motor without going to mad ,unlike me.airfilter, exhaust, chip, camshaft and you can get 190bhp very very fast.this is what i did to the car at first. i did all the work myself as i am a fiat technician which kept the cost down but for the above parts you would pay about £700-£1000 but rest assured no one will ever pass you again including scoobys.as for websites cant remember exact website address ,van aaken developments, avanti motorsport just use search engines and then phone them up.

Thanks for the help mate but i don't think it matters any more. Some silly old man just smacked into the side of my car!!! Don't look good, just sitting here fingers crossed it's not a write off!!

I'm not a big fan of fiats, I'm more of a cossie fan. But after some research, I'm getting to like GT's.
Before I buy one, could anybody tell me is it possible to have a 200BHP reliable conversion, and how much would it cost.
    Thank you.
