General Comments

I have been driving for 14 years and insured my car through Sheilas Wheels this year. I had my first at fault claim 2 weeks ago and Sheilas Wheels have been dreadful to deal with. The accident happened on the Tuesday, and it took 3 days to write the car off, I was told I wasn't entitled to a car because mine was a write-off (if it had of been fixable I would have had a hire car). The car was a officially declared a write off on the Friday, and I was told an my claim would be settled (eg cheque in hand) within 5 working days. The following Thursday I called, only to be told the cheque had only been authorised that day and would be with me on the Saturday. Saturday came and went. On the Monday I called again only to be told that the cheque had been printed but had to be authorised. It would take a further 2 days to get it signed. I explained again that I have a young child, was the sole carer for my mother and grandmother. But to no avail. When I wanted to make an official complaint I was told that there was no point as the cheque was in the system, it took me 10 minutes to get the woman to initiate the complaint. I will not be insuring with Sheilas Wheels again.
