Well made, excellent craftmanship. Plays well. Stays in tune better than any guitar I own. My preferred gig guitar. Lightweight (about like a Strat), comfortable feel. Low action straight fast neck.
Bad Points
Floyd Rose licensed Trem may not land back at exact pitch (may need to be lifted or dropped slightly to get it back to its tune, but this is slight.
General Comments
Lots of bang for the buck in the Ibanez JS100TR, as compared to the much more expensive JS 1000. The main difference is the JS 100 has the Ibanez pickups, not DiMarzio's, but the Ibanez pickups really are fine. You will pay three times+ more FOR ONLY A SLIGHT quality gain vs. JS 1000, is my opinion after owning this guitar for about six months now. It has never broken a string and has been very reliable on numerous gigs.

Second Ibanez JS100TR (1994): Changed pickups for DiMarzios. Ibanez JS1 (1990): Has been nickel plated. Curiously, the neck is stamped as a JS2 (chrome).
