Good Points

1.This product is made by Casio who made my first calculator so I have a special affinity for it.
2.It is waterproof. I was thrown into a pond by a big African man and with the exception of the cover case which is now affected by mildew, I can still access all the functions.
3.The girls love it. When I unzipped my old laptop carry case on the train and this was the only thing inside, I could sense this one chick looking over my shoulder, so I began humming and ahhing as I typed imaginary legal documents for work into it and with a sigh of completion murmurred "send!" and shut down. I am going out with her now and she still thinks I have the coolest laptop ever.

Bad Points

1.It smells a bit. I had to wash my hands all the time because I thought it was my sweat but now I am convinced it is just the material.
2.The response time is slow, at least in comparison to my old computer.
3.The batteries leak like a two year old child.
4.Printing is a nightmare. Everyone in the office is much more productive than me and I have to stay late to finish my work because I have to go next door and borrow another department's network to print so that they don't think any less of my Casio.

General Comments

All in all, The Casio EM-500 16MB Pocket PC is a fun item. As a newcomer to these PDAs I have learned a lot. A great starting point for someone with a bit of cash to spend just to impress the girls. I am still waiting for a more user friendly model that requires less of my own sound effects
