Good Points
We visited Riu Helios Palace, July 2007 with our 6 year old daughter.

Food was good, although I have read some people comments that it got boring - personally the fact that they cooked a significant amount of food in front of you go my vote - never hungry. Plenty of entertainment, which our six year old loved very much.

Very close to all the action, next to the beach and right at the start of the shopping area.

Animation team, now some people find them annoying, but if you are going on an all inclusive with children to us it was the perfect compliment - they were friendly, tried to get people involved, but left you alone if you weren't interested and were always excellent with the children.

Bad Points
Very noisy if you are on the street side. Unless you are anticipating staying out all night partying you must book a pool or sea view room.

Could do with some more sun beds as certain europeans would be up before 6 laying out there towels then not return until the afternoon.

General Comments
This was our first holiday with the Riu change, but we have already booked 2008 at another Riu. The staff were fab but Sunny beach is starting to veer towards a youngsters party scene.
