Good Points

It does just what it claims to do, it cleans carpets; very well!


Bad Points

A bit heavy, needs a little assembly when delivered. Fluid cleaner not cheap.


General Comments

Having already given our carpet a thoroughly good vacuum with a powerful cleaner, we were shocked at the quantity of dirt that the Bissell ProHeat 2x removed from the carpet. The finished results were as we hoped they would be. The machine is not a lightweight, the handbook could be better and the cleaning fluid is not cheap but if you want a clean carpet, this is the machine to do it. The set-up at first looks daunting but turns out to be very simple...... put warm water in the front and cleaning fluid in the back, choose (by turning the two dials) what you want it to do: i.e. Rinse, Light clean, Normal or severe and turn the other dial to either hand tools or the main machine. Switch on, wait one minute and go. The machine does the rest.
Good? No! Excellent!
