Does exactly what is supposed to, a no frills unit dedicated to getting you from a-b.i tried it out on a recent trip to europe,over a route I knew so I could tell if it was giving me the right information...spot on. Have used co-pilot for 6 years..and had to replace unit after it failed. Would recomend this unit for its ease of use. The night feture is great...no more bright light distracting you yet can still see the route planned. When travelling in big citys nice to have the map AND spoken directions so you can concentrate on driving.
When purchased there was a promotion code to enter once connected to Tom-Tom site....invalid code...cannot get any-one to ansewer why from Tom-Tom.
This unit is very good, shop around for the best price...loads of deals and great saveings. No fiddley buttons to press and the information is clear...if missed turning very quick on re-map. Speed camara alert very good and draws your attention to the fact that your speed has climbed and you the chance to address before you get the penalty.
