Good Points

Tunisia to Dublin 2002 clean plane.


Bad Points

The air crew were rude.


General Comments

They breached FAA regulations by packing hand luggage at out feet and on empty seats next to us. The air crew packed all their luggage into our overhead compartment and would not let us use empty ones an few rows back. We asked for extra legroom because my father has a bad leg and needs to streach it out but this extra room was taken up by our hand luggage. They threw milk sachets and sugar at my sister when she asked for extra. Over all i do not recommend this airline and if anyone knows how to contact the FAA please let me know!

    This sounds like an awful flight. It makes you feel so safe (sarcasm) when the people who are supposed to be in charge behave in this way. It could've been a one-off, although I doubt it. I would never fly with an airline who didn't put customers' safety before anything else. I will never, therefore, fly Nouvelair.

    We flew with this airline in June, the flight out from Gatwick was a worry for the following reasons:
    1) They asked the first 5 rows to move further back on the plane (due to balance!!!!)
    2) My sisters seatbelt was not attached to the chair, it came away in her hand.
    3) Seat arms were broken and when I put the table down to have my meal, the whole back off the chair fell off!!!!
    4) Water dripped from the overhead panels (where it came from we never found out)
    5) The cockpit door was open for 90%of the flight When I mentioned this to the crew they didn't seem too be too worried!!!

    I did write to Panorama with my comments but as yet have not received a reply.

    I flew with Nouvelair on 30 July 2005.
    The safety checks were perfunctory - cursory glances from staff to check seatbelts were buckled. Most unprofessional.
    This was nothing compared to the strange noise coming from one of the engines on take-off. We noted on landing that there were a number of engineers(?) looking into the suspect engine with torches.
    The food was atrocious. The toilets even more so - dirty with brown staining.
    The plane was old - its interior shabby.
    I would never fly with this airline again.

    Oh my god I totally agree! However - the regulations aren't breached as long as it's only hand luggage.
