Have taken excellent pictures and when enlarged very clear.
Bad Points
The front slider which activates the lens has now ceased to operate after three years and as this will cost £100.00 to replace, this is not economical in view of the current lower prices of this type of camera and I am therefore having to purchase a new camera.
General Comments
I think the front slider to operate the lens is probably not a good design on the Canon PowerShot S50 and I am disappointed that this camera has only lasted three years as apart from that I was very pleased with it.
