They had the item I wanted
Poor delivery and customer service
Note that this relates to John Lewis online operation rather than their stores...
The delivery department is totally incompetent, and even though the delivery van turned up to deliver my furniture, my items were not actually on board.
After several calls to customer services, it emerged that the item hadn't even arrived at the depot.
And as for customer service, I ended up talking to a different person every time I called, and there was no ownership of the problem.
