Rugged, nothing sophisticated, reliable and made the vehicle very simple.
I would say 75 isn't that stable. It needed a wider tyres to make the car much more stable.
We run tours on Toyota Land Cruisers we have several 80 series and recently I purchased 75 which we used for one of our expeditions in Mongolian Gobi desert and I would say the only thing which didn't satisfy me on 75 is not stable at all! We were driving 80 series on the dirt road not so fast but still 75 couldn't keep up with us cause the handling wasn't so good cause of the short wheel base. It would needed to slow down much more on most of the part of the road then 80 series would plus of it's leaf springs make's the the bumps much tougher then coiled 80 series. Otherwise it's a decent camping or support vehicle for me.
