I brought a new Acer 5315 from Comet and had nothing but problems. Not connecting to my network, doesn't read my compact flash disk (failed to mention on the box that the laptop is only compatible with a few), so I took it back, and they said 'a tech guys got to look at it and we'll contact you tomorrow', which they never did, nor the day after that or the day after that one. That's it! Enough is enough... I stormed to the shop where they said 'we've checked the item, nothing wrong with it, and the flash disk problem is my own problem as it's third party hardware! ...It's not working right, so therefore it's not fit for the purpose I need it for! ...but nope, I can't have my money back. However, if this was Currys, the first thing they would say is 'do you want a refund or a new one'?
