Incredibly frustrating to get a answer on the 'customer care' line; such unhelpful staff.


General Comments

I was brought a Ziganof statue from a posh furniture place for Christmas 2 years ago. It is stunning, but unfortunately I have never been able to find the other 2 in the set. Whilst browsing the internet I came across the other 2 figures on the Studio Cards website. A bargain (or so I thought) at £39.99 each, reduced from £99.99. I ordered them both and thought I could just pay using a credit or debit card. As a new customer this facility wasn't available, so I had to use the pay-when-invoice-comes route. The 2 ornaments came in 2 parcels, both broken on arrival. I rang customer care, and after a 20 minute wait, I got told they would be returned and replacements sent out. But the parcels would be collected most likely separately. Fair enough I thought. The replacement for one figure arrived...Broken! I rang customer care again, and had another 20 something minute wait, to be told, "yes we will collect it and replace". I queried the replacement for the other figure, to be told as a new customer my credit is not high enough to get that replaced until the other 2 have gone through processing. I queried the time frame, and was told 14 days from arrival back with them. By now I was a little irritated to say the least, and asked when I would actually get the 2 figures I had ordered undamaged, she informed me after all 3 items (the original 2 and the 1st replacement) had processed, and only if they were still in stock. I explained I was really disappointed that a professional company would behave in such a manner, as if these items had actually been packed properly there was no way they could have arrived broken. I got the reply 'I'm sorry you feel this way'. In fact, everything I questioned or asked was answered with 'I'm sorry you feel this way'.I asked what she could advise as to me actually getting my order before Christmas, and she said pay it all off on my debit card, both broken figures (already returned) and the broken replacement and they would credit it back to me. I refused, as I personally do not trust them to do anything correctly, and I would wait for my first statement and pay then. I asked to be put through to either the complaints department or a manager, to be told you can only complain via letter at an address. I composed a 7 A4 sized complaint letter and duly posted. At the moment I am writing this review, I have not received a answer to my complaint, and none of the figures I ordered or the broken replacement to be collected for return.
