The most lovable rogues. Very affectionate. Love to be playing and chasing the birds. Excellent with other children, and a good watch dog. Loves long walks and swimming.
If you don't give them very long walks they become stubborn.
Difficult to walk on the lead at times - pulls a lot.
I find that given any chance she will run off and not come back until she is ready.
A great dog, but before considering getting a Chocolate Labrador, think about the amount of exercise they need, as enough never seems to be enough. A very affectionate dog, and gets on great with children. When out though, she is difficult to walk.
Train early while a puppy, and be very fair but firm with them. They will give you years of happiness.
