Good Points

Nice QWERTY keyboard.

Bad Points

Battery completely dead after 4 months and neither HTC nor Orange will replace it.
Access to calendar or texts take around 8-10 seconds to show on screen. (You can almost see the PDA thinking!)
User experience not intuitive at all.
I'd done a search on the web and found out that I'm not the only one having problems with it so please stay away from the SPV M3100!

General Comments

I've got an Orange SPV M3100 and I cannot wait to get rid of it.

The battery has completely died after 4 months of use and they refuse to replace it.

If that was not a good enough reason, the interface keeps freezing when trying to get to my calendar and, in 1 out of 3 calls, I cannot hear the person in a call as the handset is faulty and when you call HTC (the manufacturers), all they can say is: "try resetting your handset". I've tried to reset it and it still doesn't work so I'll need to send it to get it fixed, which will take an estimate of 5 working days but remembering that I'll need to buy another battery separately (a battery that will last no longer than 4 months).

In a market where mobile phones are given for free, why go through all this trouble for a piece of equipment that is not worth it?

I would highly recommend you STAY AWAY from HTC (the manufacturers of the SPV M3100. And from Orange for not taking responsibility for selling this!)
