Where do I begin ... Read General comments ! DO NOT USE VETERINARY PET INSURANCE! They only pay 20-25% of your claim, if any.


General Comments

I recently submitted a claim in the amount of $4,291.89 for a family pet that became drastically ill and passed away all in the same week. It was devastating to our family and friends as he was part of our new begginning in our new home etc. The reason we keep insurance is so that we can provide the best care for our pets knowing that we are backed up by a large insurance company. When I received a check for 25% of the claim amount, it just added insult to injury and threw salt into our already gaping wound. We have two other dogs that were going to be enrolled in their insurance program yesterday, however upon receipt of their cheque, I won't be using their services again. We are extremely displeased with the care for our dog and we will let it be known throughout the internet, news and the world. I have several family memebers and friends that have enrolled with them due to our referrals, and all of them are ready to leave to another company. We are extremely unhappy and are definetly considering legal action.

I have tried to contact a customer care representative about this travesty but they were worthless.
