Lots of different topics covered in each edition, easy to read, visually interesting, lots of interesting ideas and stories, supportive like a good friend.
Advertising for mainstream beauty products seems a bit out of place, not enough opportunities to help you think about and deal with other people and help others - all a bit egocentric. I know awareness about self is meant to help one deal better with others but I'm not sure it always follows.
Psychologies Magazine is positive, informative and full of interesting articles. I wouldn't say that any one in particular will change your life, but lots of them can give you ideas, stories and examples will may help you think differently about things, and this may ultimately change your life! There are personal stories, always a feature giving a much deeper insight into a great female celebrity than you would get in mainstream women's magazines, which is so much more interesting that the usual surface stuff. It's a rich feast and can take many hours to read and inwardly digest as it encourages you to reflect on your life, but at the same time it also maintains a light and humorous touch and is never patronising.
