General Comments

I could not possibly recommend Amazon for DVD rental. I wish I could - despite our perseverance and many "second" chances, we've finally had enough. I have had DVDs that don't play it's simply not acceptable. Absolutely frustrating experience! As previous reviewers have noted, there is no evidence of quality control with damaged and unplayable dvds being very frequently dispatched. They are often visibly worn and scratched. The most annoying time is when the fault occurs an hour into the movie. As you've settled down to watch that film - it destroys your evening! No replacement half a week later is never going to be good enough. In my opinion the business model is broken. We've canceled our subscription.
