Good Points
Unthrottled-No traffic shapping-Good value for money-Static IP address comes as standard.

Bad Points
Bandwith capped packages-Extra bandwidth purchasable, but only in large blocks of 10GB.

General Comments
Been with NewNet for 3 months and very pleased with the service so far. There was a span where connections were regularly dropped, but that has abated. I have a Max 8Mb connection, and achieve 3.5Mb. But I am 5 miles from the exchange. With broadband, you basically get the bandwidth you pay for, so I have no gripe withe 3GB cap on my package. My only gripe is that extra bandwidth had to be pre-purchased for the month in 3GB blocks, and unused bandwidth will not be be carried over or refunded. The customer support is fairly prompt they take 2 or 3 days to respond to general queries. Haven't had to make a connection support call yet. For me, the main benefit of Newnet has been it's unthrottled and unmanaged connection. My bandwidth is mine to do with as I please, which is vital for running a P2P service.

Further to this review, last year Newnet rednble.
uced the block sizes of pre-purchasable bandwidth down to 1Gbyte. And the cost per gig if you do go over your limit is reaso
Only complaint now is that spped seems to have dropped. To around 3Gbit on a line that used to do 6Bit. But difficult to say where the trouble lies.
